<br />
<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Well I kind of have mixed feelings on this last Monday writing as I
imagine all missionaries do. I am happy to say that I don't feel homesick and
just going to give it my all this last week. I've tried to treat this last
transfer just like any other transfer and it seems to have been working. The
work isn't about me so I'll just try and do His will. So I'll tell you about my
great week and then maybe add a few more words at the end.</span><br />
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Monday- At night we found a new familia!!!! It is a mom and her
two teenage kids. They were a contact that sisters had done a few years ago and
written down in the area book. We got back in contact and set up an appointment
to visit her. We went with a member and it was really good! They lost their
husband/dad 8 months ago and are pretty shaken up from that. Really religious
with a lot of faith in God and receptive to our message. The oldest, William
(17), plays the piano since he was 9 and the other Roger (16) plays the guitar
since he was 9. They are super respectful, listen and understand what we teach.
They all said they felt peace and hope after that first visit!</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">T</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">uesday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We had a REALLY good district meeting
where our district leaders cut up parts of the mission call and we talked about
our missionary purpose. What a blessing it is to serve the Lord! Then we went
to the offices to get things ready for things this week.</span></div>
<br />
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Wednesday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We had interviews in Adrogue and
those were pretty good. Good elders and sisters. Then we went out and worked a
bit in our area.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Thursday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We went to the airport to get an
elder that went home to get operated on and was coming back!!!! Sound like
anyone you know? He was only home for three weeks because of a hernia but it
still felt like a victory to see someone come back. Then we started transfers
with President. Those are always fun and pretty interesting. Then we visited a
less active sister with an hermano and she was not doing so well so it was good
for us to be there.</span><br />
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Friday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We had the last interviews of the
transfer in Longchamps! They went well and it is always good to be with the
missionaries from the mission, one of the blessing of this assignment. Then at
night we started an exchange at night with the elders from Villa Celina.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Saturday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We invited people to do family
history in the morning and one lady said that God put us there because she used
to do family history at the church, had stopped for a long time, and now wanted
to get back in so we were motivation for her. Then we had lunch with our new
ward mission leader and he is super awesome! I actually knew him when he was in
<st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Avellaneda</st1:place></st1:city> 2
and he moved in to this ward with his wife. Then after lunch we had a few
appointments fall through and then went with our ward mission leader to visit
Ester and her family. They had been reading and are progressing. The lesson
went really well and they have a lot of potential. They wanted to go to church
but had to work at the voting that they did for a new president but are really
excited!</span></div>
<br />
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Sunday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- we had a good church meeting and
afterwards got to help set Paula apart for her new calling as the president of
music of Banfield 2! She is such a special lady. Then after we had a really
good lunch with the Thurgoods! Roast beef and mashed potatoes and gravy.
Hermana Thurgood is a really good cook, another benefit of this assignment and
then we had our planning meeting with president.</span><br />
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Today we teach Ester and her family again, we are going to teach
them the restoration and are pretty excited!</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">I am really happy that the Lord let me come back on a mission.
When I was at home I had my doubts about coming back and even started to think
that if the chance was given to me to come back I might say no. Then one day in
mission prep I shared an experience that I had with a companion that was very
special to me. The Lord helped me to remember what a blessing it was to serve
in His work. When I got home I kneeled down and made the promise that if the
chance was given to me to come back on a mission I would take it and that I
would serve with all my heart, might, mind and strength. I testify that our
Heavenly Father is a God of love and that He heard my prayer. I don't know if I
have been the best missionary but I have tried to let Him be the guide and what
a blessing it is to have a front row seat to watch Him perform so many miracles
even in my own life. I do not regret putting off school and other things to
come back, I know it is what the Lord wanted me to know. This gospel is so
true. I love you all so much and am so glad for all the support I have received
from you throughout my life and during my mission. May God bless you all and we
will be seeing you soon!</span></div>
<br />
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Elder Andrew</span><br />
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">PS I promise to be more excited in the airport this time
:) </span></div>

<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14.0pt;">Oct. 19, 2015</span></div>
<br />
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">This week of all work had some interesting twists but ended really well but I guess that is how most of the mission is. </span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Monday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We went out to work at night and a family that we contacted in September finally let us in their house to teach them! That just goes to show persistence and follow ups really do work! They were really nice and the Mom talked a lot, the 15 year old son not so much and the Dad didn't feel well and so was in another room. They are evangelists and seem prepared, so we'll see! They weren't there for the next appointment that we set so we have to get back in contact with them. </span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Tuesday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We went to the zone meeting and had some really good teaching given to us. It was a nice change of roles and I felt like a normal missionary haha. Then we made a delicious and healthy meal of chicken breast, rice with boiled egg and salad. I felt so healthy after! We then had a pretty special lesson with a less active family, the family Dos Santos. They have been having a hard time lately and the Spirit was really strong in the lesson, they all looked better and happier at the end of the lesson. Then, at night, we started a companionship exchange with the zone leaders from Burzaco.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Wednesday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- I stayed in the area with the Elder Pribyl from <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">San Clara</st1:city>, <st1:state w:st="on">California</st1:state></st1:place>. It was a pretty good exchange and he made me deep fried alfajors in lunch (it was good but a lot of oil! It didn't make me feel very good) then we had a lesson with Paula and her son Tomas. Maria got a new job and we haven't been able to teach her since! We'll see with her. Tomas told us that he can see himself getting baptized in the future but just feels like it isn't his time yet although he did commit to read the Book of Mormon. Then, that night we had to call and do arrangements for a sister that fainted for about five hours and was in the hospital so that kind of stressed me out and since I was still on intercambios even more. </span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Thursday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- we ended the exchange in the morning because of the complications the night before and when we were in the pench of the other elders, Elder Powlus who is a muscely elder from Idaho challenged me to a wrestling match. So I proceeded to quickly throw him on the ground and put him on his back! I don't feel trunky but that was probably the trunkiest moment of the week, ha ha I still love wrestling and it looks like I've still got it! Then that day was getting things worked out and a few contacts.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Friday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- we did our weekly planning and then made a great lunch! Taco salad with beans and rice! I was pretty proud and it was REALLY good! Then after we went with a sister in our ward to do a service at a home for the elderly. We went with the other elders from our ward and sang hymns to about 8 elderly women, it was really cool and we always feel good if we can make other people happy. Then at night we started another companionship exchange with the zone leaders from Montegrande</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Saturday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- I went with Elder Almeida from <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Paraguay</st1:country-region></st1:place> to his area. It was a really good area with a lot of people progressing I even got to do a baptismal interview for a lady that was super ready. Her name was Brenda so I told her that was my sister's name too. Then as we were going to end the exchange we got a call that a sister was admitted to the hospital for extreme chest pains she was having. We got there and I went back to administer a blessing. They had her just in the hall! Public health care is not as good as it might appear. About every five or ten minutes she would feel a stabbing pain that would last for maybe about a minute and then it would go away. It was not a pretty sight and they only let one back at a time so I was the only one back then and I decided to wait until after they put the IV in to give the blessing. I had almost forgotten that I get queasy and loopy in those sort of situations, so as they were searching around for the vain with the needle I almost passed out! I was able to give the blessing though afterwards and then went out to the waiting room. Long story short we were there until 1:30 in the morning making sure everything was okay until they finally admitted her into a room for the night.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Sunday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- Needless to say after a few hospital experiences and a few strange experiences I wasn't in the best mood in the morning and not feeling to good. I testify of the power of the Sacrament. After taking the sacrament I have been calm and the worries and stressed feeling have just been gone. I love the Savior and know He helps us be calm and tranquil when we come to Him in times of stress of need, or even in times of calm! I love you all very much and hope you have a great week!</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Love,</span></div>

<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14.0pt;">Oct. 12, 2015</span></div>
<br />
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">I always love hearing from you and have enjoyed another great week here
in paradise! (I didn't know what to put for the subject so I just put something
random)</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Monday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- we had a lesson with President with
the investigator that went to General Conference and we were really direct. He
has been on and off investigating for about 2 years and so we gave it to him
directly but he still doesn't want to really commit so we wont be to focused on
him.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Tuesday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We did a <st1:place w:st="on">LOT</st1:place>
of contacts, just talking with people in the street, knocking on doors and
passing by former investigators. I'm getting pretty good at not being afraid to
talk with people in whatever situation so that is a blessing. We have a few
potential investigators that seem pretty promising.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Wednesday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We had interviews here in our zone of
Banfield, that went well and I got my interview with President. He always has
us set a goal and so I set the goal of Finishing my mission strong and how the
Lord wants me to. After we talked with some more people and had a lesson with
Paula. She is doing so great! She recently got called to be the ward music
coordinator and is nervous/excited about that. He son was there in the lesson
who has listened to the missionaries before and seemed kind of closed off, but
this time he opened up and even said the final prayer! We have hope for him.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Thursday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We did weekly planning in the morning
which is always really good, I always like doing the companionship inventory at
the end of the weekly planning session it helps me know how to get better and
have an even better relationship with my companion. Mom and Dad you should try
it out sometime, it is in chapter 8 of Preach My Gospel at the end of the
weekly planning section. I think it is step 13. Then, we Talked with a <st1:place w:st="on">LOT</st1:place> of people, even more than <span>Tuesday</span>.
With about an hour left in the day we had already gone through all our plans
and so all we could do was just knock doors which isn't too effective at night,
or anytime of the day for that matter. We had already listened to a lot of no's
in the day so we were a bit disanimated but we kept going and found a lady that
when we talked a bit about the family and the restoration and asked if we could
share that message with her she said........ Si. Wow, that was a tender mercy.
She couldn't in that moment but really was very sincere and we are going to
visit her and her two kids this week.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Friday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- we had interviews in Gonzalez Catan
and that went well. Then, we taught a less active family and Paula again.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Saturday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- we started the day inviting people in
front of our church building to pass in and learn more about their family
history, since we have a family history center there. After about half an hour
of doing that a lady actually came in! That idea came from studying chapter 9
of Preach My Gospel, what an inspired book! Then, we had lunch with a member, a
lot of pizzas. After, we went to a lesson with a family of Bolivians that works
in a fruit stand where we always buy fruit for the mission meetings. One of the
times we bought fruit we just asked if we could come by some time and share our
message, they said yes and it was a really special lesson. They are really
ready and they closed their shop and we sat on fruit crates to teach them. It
was awesome! they are so humble and I just love the Bolivian people.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Sunday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- was really special and with the fast
and the things I am trying to do to make the Sabbath day Holy really kicked in.
We gave the gospel principles class, blessed the sacrament and both bore our
testimonies! How is that for participation? Although participating more always
seems to help have the Spirit. It was a really good day and it is a bit weird
that was the last time I will give my testimony in an argentine chapel because
the first week of November we have stake conference. I love the work and I love
the Lord, He blesses me so much even when I don't seem to deserve it. Pres.
Thurgood is gone this week at a mission presidents´ seminar so we have all week
to just work in the area! We are excited.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">

<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">p.s. I saw a great article on<span> </span><a href="http://lds.org/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #1155cc;">lds.org</span></a><span> </span>about 80 ideas of things to make the Sabbath
day better. I would invite you all to check it out and put some of the ideas in
practice in our family. </span></div>

Week in Paradise</span></b></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Oct. 5, 2015</span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Well I receive a lot of strength and happiness from your comments on
conference so thank you for that! I also loved it a lot but I'll get to that
later on. I don't have time for a full week analysis so I'll just give a few
highlights! </span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: large;">We started interviews and did two zones last week. They were
both really prepared and it went as smoothly as these things can go! We are
teaching all of the missionaries about keeping the Sabbath day holy and working
with the members teaching them from </span><u><span style="font-size: large;">Preach My Gospel</span></u><span style="font-size: large;">. So far so good on
the interviews!</span></span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">I had my last leadership meeting and it went pretty well. We
ordered different food, noquis instead of the usual milanesa, and they all
seemed to like and welcome the change! We talked a lot about needs of the
mission and I have a really good feeling about the direction this mission is
heading. Just as General Conference gives us a wake up call in our lives to get
better; the mission has had quite a few "wake up calls" lately but we
are taking advantage of the situation to help our missionaries be even more
obedient and dedicated than ever. I think one of the reasons I came back on the
mission was to learn what I am learning now as an assistant and especially with
the trials that are going on and how to handle them.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="z-index: -1;"><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span data-term="goog_373590614" style="font-size: large; z-index: 0;" tabindex="0">Thursday</span></span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;"> </span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">we picked up a new missionary that came
10 days late because he had an ingrown toenail operated on, Elder Jacobson from
Orange County, California! He seemed a bit out of things and
nervous as most new missionaries do but he has a really good trainer from Tegucigalpa, Honduras!</span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">We are finding a lot of really good future investigators. We
still haven't been able to get a teaching rhythm going with them but they have
potential and we are seeing the blessing of the Lord that we feel like He is
giving to us for our diligence.</span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: large;">General Conference was wonderful!!! It is just another testimony
to me that the church is true because every conference that I see is the BEST
conference I have ever seen in my life! These are men and women of God who
really are inspired with the messages that the world needs right then in that
moment. I have about ten goals that I set for myself and sometime this week I
will work on making plans to accomplish them. I have already kind of been
Ponderizing scriptures and I testify of the power that it giving against Satan's
temptations. When a bad thought pops in my mind I think of a scripture that I
have already memorized or that I am working on and just as quickly as the
thought came in, it is completely gone! I want to work of following the Spirit
better and really have it as a constant companion. Our purpose on this earth is
to learn to do God's will and not ours and ultimately to align our wills so
that we are one just as the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. I want to be
able to do His will because I am doing what I need to to have the constant
guide of the Spirit. One investigator of ours came to the </span><span style="z-index: -1;"><span data-term="goog_373590615" style="font-size: large; z-index: 0;" tabindex="0">Saturday</span></span><span style="font-size: large;"> afternoon session and said he felt
like Jesus was talking to him through the conference and since he has
investigated the church several times without ever coming to a final conclusion
said he was going to give it one more go! </span></span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Today as we walked into the offices to do our weekly meeting we
quickly noticed that there were things strewn all around. glass was broken,
things were all over the floor, doors had been forced, one safe had been ripped
out of the ground, opened up and left on its side, the other was just gone...
We had been robbed! It was more than a little upsetting but President said that
we should start our meeting anyway. As we finished talking about the business
he had each of us share what had impacted us from Conference. The Spirit filled
the room as we each shared. He assured us that these things like robberies are
bad but that they will not stop the work of God. I know with all my heart that
no unhallowed hand can stop the work! Tempests may rage, armies may combine and
the very gates of Hell can be opened up against us but they can have no power
over the Kingdom
of God. His cause will go
forth triumphantly until his purposes have been fulfilled! I love Him and am so
grateful for this time I have left to serve Him with everything and really live
a consecrated life! I am not thinking of home in any way trunky. The Lord is
giving me strength to finish Strong and how He and I want me to finish the
mission.</span></div>

<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Well sorry all of you this week; I have no time to write. The picture is
one Sister Thurgood recently took of us here in the mission home writing to our
families for a few minutes. Emergency transfers planning sessions and a few
other things kind of threw this day out of wack, we haven't even bought
groceries yet! I'm doing well and I love all of you very much. Have a fantastic
week and may the Lord be with you!</span></div>

<br />
<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13.0pt;">Well it feels good to be finishing this day and it wasn't too
bad because all the elders and sister were gone by 5 o'clock. There were only 8 of them so not too
much. Tomorrow we receive 21 new missionaries though! That is going to be an
exciting day! Alright here is my week.</span><br />
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13.0pt;">Monday- We worked on transfers at night with
President, it is like putting together a puzzle. It is pretty fun and
interesting.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13.0pt;">Tuesday- We had district meeting (it was Mexican
Independence Day). Then, we did some things like pay rent and get some x rays
from the hospital for an elder. Then, we did some visits and contacted some
references. Then, an elder that has a hernia was in the hospital getting the
results of an ultra sound and him and his companion stayed the night in our
pench (apartment) so that was kind of fun. (We do go to the hospital if there
is something serious most of the time. That is something I don't like about
this job, it just brings back bad memories)</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13.0pt;">Wednesday- We "finished" transfers
and did some planning with President and then went to the offices to get
everything ready for the transfer and have a meeting about the taxis that we
use that day. After the meeting we stayed in the offices and did some more
things. Then, at night, I drove home and I actually did it pretty smooth with
the manual! I'm thinking about getting one when I get home because it is pretty
entertaining and then I won't have to lend it to anyone else cause they won't
be able to drive it haha!!</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13.0pt;">Thursday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13.0pt;">- We did weekly
planning and went out to work. Then we got food for the elders and sister that
are leaving because they had a capital tour and an auto-sufficiency class. After,
we went out and worked some more and contacted a really nice lady that said she
went to church when she was a little girl, so we have hope that she will be a
good investigator with her family.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13.0pt;">Friday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13.0pt;">- We worked in the
morning and then got food for the leaving missionaries for after their temple
trip. Then we went out with a member but the visit we had planned fell
through.... oh well. At night we had an awesome visit with an active young
family that the brother took us to Paula's house in his car and we picked up Paula
and her daughter, Maria, and then went back to their house to have a lesson. We
had told them what we were going to teach, assigned them a part and told them
to please look over the lesson in preach my gospel beforehand. When we got to
the house they had pictures to teach with on the table and were super prepared
for the lesson. The truth is it went really well and was very spiritual. I
testify of the power of working with members so work with them missionaries!</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13.0pt;">Well, that's my time this week. I guess Saturday and Sunday will just
remain a mystery!</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13.0pt;">I love you all very much and hope you have a
wonderful week,</span></div>

<br />
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14.0pt;">To start off I will answer some of your questions. I am doing
exercise every morning. I actually just wrote out a more stable program for
what I am going to do and am going to get up a little bit earlier to be able to
do a little bit more exercise. Two days of the week I am going to do
plyometrics with a P90X DVD and oh man that is a killer! But I am eating more
healthy and drinking more water so I feel pretty good that way!</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14.0pt;">This week has been a little weird with a few
things that happened but now we are getting back to normal.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14.0pt;">I don't have much time so I'll just say a few
highlights.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14.0pt;">We finished all of the zone conferences! It
was a really good experience and we have really good missionaries in this
mission! It will be my last zone conference so that is kind of weird/sad. We
also had a leadership counsel with the zone leaders and sister training leader
and we have really sharp leaders right now in our mission as well. This month
we are really going to focus on chapter 8 of PMG which are the nuts and bolts
of missionary work.<span> </span><span>Friday</span><span> </span>and<span> </span><span>Saturday</span><span> </span>we did an intercambio with some elders
where one of them in having problems with being obedient and really not getting
along with his companion, in fact the night before we did the intercambio he
locked him out of their apartment! So that was fun and really I think the Lord
was with me to know how to help that elder out and hopefully I could do it.
Fast<span> </span><span>Sunday</span><span> </span>was good. We had a young couple move
in that lived in <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Avellaneda</st1:place></st1:city>
2 so that is cool that they are going to be in our ward now! In our ward
council we watched a training from the apostles about keeping the Sabbath day
holy.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14.0pt;">An invitation that I have for you is to make a
family plan for keeping the Sabbath day holy. I think it talks about that on
the church website and I am going to try and make a personal plan this week. As
we follow the voice of the prophets we will be blessed!</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">

first name now that there are two of us!)</span></div>

<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Well this week has been another good one and it is crazy to think that
Matthew is almost in the mission field! What a great blessing, I have been
thinking a lot about the blessing that it is to be a missionary and I am so
grateful for the opportunity given to come back!</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Monday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We did the normal stuff of cleaning
and buying and then taught two lessons! One was with a new investigator that we
were pretty excited about but then when we called her<span> </span><span>on Saturday</span><span> </span>to set up another appointment she said
she wasn't interested.... I think she is just too liberal, but it isn't over
yet, the Lord can still work a change in her heart!</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Tuesday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We did some work in the offices in
the morning. We ate lunch with a member and that was good. He is a little guy
that has about 60 years and was really into martial arts so he is still in good
shape, so after lunch he picked me up just to see if he could do it. and sure
enough he could! Then we tried to do visits and get to know people with no luck,
at 7 we had an appointment with active members to get to know them, share a
spiritual thought and see if we could help them with sharing the gospel. They
in kind of a prideful way told us they had already tried sharing the gospel and
it just wasn't the greatest visit. I think we should always take the
invitations from representatives of the church seriously and really look for a
way to get better even if we are already doing what they are asking us to do.
Oh well, it just was kind of a weird visit.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Wednesday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We had the zone conference in
Banfield. It went okay but there just wasn't that much participation and
well... it was just okay. To answer your question, Mom, we do zone conferences<span> </span><span>on Wednesday</span><span> </span>and<span> </span><span>Friday</span><span> </span>and that
is because President wants us to have the full day of<span> </span><span>Tuesday</span><span> </span>and<span> </span><span>Thursday</span><span> </span>to
work! What a great president! It was also Brenda's birthday that day so shout
out to my sista! We also met with two sisters that are inactive but want to
come back to church! We had to call 10 hermanos to finally get one to come to
the visit with us but it paid off and was a good visit!</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Thursday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- In the morning we had a training on
how to use family search, I feel like an expert since I did that service
mission haha. We had lunch and then helped our ward mission leader make a ward
mission plan to present in the ward council. Hopefully this will help the work
to keep going forward! After we took some time to do weekly planning, that is
the first time I have been able to do that since being assistant! So it helps to
look at what you want to get accomplished. Then we went an taught Paula with
our ward mission leader and that went fairly well. She is doing good and
staying strong, Maria, her daughter, was feeling sick so couldn't be in the
visit with us. Also, it marked the day of two years since I got to <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Argentina</st1:place></st1:country-region>!!!!
How crazy is that and to think about how much I've learned and how much I've
changed since that first day in <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Argentina</st1:place></st1:country-region>.
It is pretty incredible to me and is quite a blessing.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Friday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We had the zone conference in
Gonzalez Catan and it went really well. We even got Subway for lunch! After the
conference I stayed with Elder Sepulveda de Chile to do an intercambio. He is a
really powerful elder who just <span>this Monday</span><span> </span>completed two years since he was
baptized a member of the church. Some of these converts really impress me with
their faithfulness and really the level of gospel knowledge that they obtain so
quickly. It is amazing how the Lord calls who He needs for the work. Just think
of Paul who would have thought from looking at his history that he would become
one of the greatest missionaries of all time! What a miracle the atonement is! We
had fun going around in his area (Gonzalez Catan is the most dangerous part of
the mission haha) and stopped by some investigators to confirm a visit for the
next day. They let us come in so we decided to just shared a quick scripture
and then teach a full lesson the next day. Elder Sepulveda turned to me and
asked what scripture I wanted to share and so I thought of 1 Nephi chapter 21
where it quotes Isaiah and talks about having us marked into the Savior's
hands. The wife started crying a little when we were talking and reading and so
we asked her why she was getting emotional, and she said she didn't want
anything more to do with churches but in the morning had said a prayer to God
asking Him a question and felt like He talked to her and answered her question.
It was a special experience. We talked a lot to each other about the blessing
that it is to be a missionary and it was really motivating.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Saturday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We finished the intercambio with a
service in the morning of helping build a concrete roof (pesado!) and a few
visits. It was a really good intercambio and motivated me to work even harder
even though things aren't going as well as we would like them to in our area.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Sunday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We had a special stake conference
from the area! So we got a satellite transmission and got to hear the area
president Elder Walter F Gonzalez along with other general authorities as well
as Elder Cook and Elder Hales! How cool is that! They talked a lot about
missionary work and the Sabbath day observance. Paula was in attendance and
said she really liked it! She also is sharing the gospel with her sister who
lives in a different area and last night they had their first lesson with her
and her family! What a capa Paula! Already a member missionary!</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">I love you all very much and hope you enjoy these last couple
days with boy Matthew, because the next time we see him he will be man Matthew.
What a blessing it is to serve as a full time missionary!!!</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">I am really glad to hear of the progress that the Lopez family
is having and really I think that is the Lord's way for this church to work
with those that need strengthening. It isn't for the Bishop to do everything
and work a miracle. Just as the Missionaries aren't meant to do absolutely
everything in missionary work. I believe the Lord's way is for all of us,
working together, can help out these people. The bishop, the missionaries,
quorum and relief society presidents, home and visiting teachers, normal
members of the ward, we are all a part of his great work.</span></span></div>

<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">The thought that I had for Matthew about maybe his fears of not
being ready is this: It is interesting to me in Alma 17 Alma talks about
meeting up with his brothers the sons of Mosiah. An interesting thing is that
he notices a change in them. I imagine it was probably a change in their
maturity. He also makes reference to that they had become strong in their
knowledge of the truth because of their constant study of the scriptures. He
also mentions of their many days of prayer and fasting. These are all things
that I think they did on the missions. He saw a difference in them after a 14
year period of preaching the word. They were as ready as the Lord needed them
to be when they left and the He continued to mold them as they constantly
turned to Him. Doctrine and Covenants 4:3 says something interesting "Therefore, </span><b><u><span style="font-size: small;">if ye have desires to serve God</span></u></b><span style="font-size: small;"> ye are called to the work;" I
think that is probably the biggest requirement to serve a mission and I know
that Matthew has that part down fine. So Matthew, just go out there and get
them! You will never get to a point in your mission where you don't need the
Lord's help so just believe in Him and He will get done what He wants through
your willing hands. What an exciting time in your life!</span></span></div>

<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">Monday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">- Well we had a pretty normal day, we
are going to try and start getting everything done in the offices in the
morning that way we can have time to work at night and so far so good! That
means that I will probably always write you all around this time just so you
don't forget to send your letters! We contacted a few people and then had a
meeting at President's house with a couple that just got called to family
history for the Buenos Aires South Counsel (counsel is the same geographic size
as a mission it is just what the church uses to refer to callings that aren't
directly part of the mission) and they are going to teach the missionaries by zone
how to get people started on their family history! That is such a great tool to
hasten the work! Maybe you could invite Lillian to create a family history
account.</span></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">

<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">Tuesday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">- We had a district meeting that was
pretty good and ate at a members house that I couldn't believe. It was a
mansion! Lets just say that Banfield 2 is probably the fanciest/richest area in
the whole mission. Then we headed over to the offices to get everything ready
for zone conferences we would be starting the next day. We then went to go
teach the complete family. We prayed a lot that day for them, did a practice of
what we were going to teach them, got a member to come with us, showed up on
time and....... they weren't there.... After waiting a while we decided to just
come back another day, it was a bummer but we are going to keep on trying.</span></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">

<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">

<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">Wednesday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">- We had the first zone conference in
Adrogue! There were some technical difficulties and others as can be expected
with the first time, but that was also good because we rely more on the Spirit.
It went really well and we are only teaching 4 things. Humility, working with
members, Personal security, and the Atonement. Working with members and the
atonement take up mostly the whole time and they go from 10 in the morning
until 4 in the afternoon. Then after that we did a little office work and had
an awesome lesson! It was with Paula and we took an awesome member with us who
is a returned missionary. We taught Paula and her daughter Maria. We are reteaching
the lessons with Paula and it is the first time for Maria. The Spirit was super
strong and the member helped a lot. I asked Maria if she believed that the
story of the first vision was true and she said without hesitation "si".
</span><span style="font-size: small;">Oh man that was a powerful lesson!
Greatest joy of the mission!</span></span></div>

<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">Thursday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">- We went to an area in Virrey del Pino
to give a training to a new missionary and his trainer because they couldn't
come to the trainer meeting. It went really well and they are really good
elders. One of them just got here from the states and he was telling us about
how much better his Spanish is getting, it was fun and brought back good
memories from the beginning of the mission. Then we had a really good experience.
We had asked an hermana if she knew anyone we could visit and she said her
neighbor in front of her house maybe and she was going to try and talk to her. So
we went back to verify if she was able to talk to her neighbor and she
told us no, but right in that moment her neighbor came over!!!! She asked for a
tool for something in her house and so the hermana presented us and then went
in the house to look for the tool. Well, luckily we recognized that the Lord
had probably given us this opportunity and so we talked to her real quick about
who we were and before the hermana came back had set up to visit her! She was
really nice and had no problem with us passing by. The hermana told us after
she left that she had taken longer on getting the tool on purpose so we could talk
with her and had gone in her room to say a prayer. That was a special
experience and another testimony of the power of members in this work</span></span></div>

<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">Friday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">- We had zone conference in Aldo Bonzi
and then went to do and intercambio with the zl's in Alejandro Korn on the most
full train ever. At one point I could feel the persons chest expanding behind
me when they would breathe because we were so tightly packed! That was
fun. </span></span></div>

<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">Saturday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">- I stayed in Banfield 2 with Elder
Rooks from Draper, Utah and we had a day of a LOT of contacts. Not very productive and just made me realize
that I think the only way we are going to have success here is working with the
members. We had an appointment with active members at night and had a spiritual
lesson and then they gave us two references! The sister is going to present us
to her friends pretty soon.</span></span></div>

church services. We passed by a few people, had a meeting to get ready for a

<br />
<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">It is hard to think all the things I'm going to be writing you about
only happened this week but that is how most weeks in the mission are and
especially with the assignment of assistant! Apart from Drew being home Dallin
Mickelson is also home.. hearing about my friends getting home and thinking
about it give me a weird feeling inside, I don' know if it's fear, excitement,
trunckyness... whatever it is I'll try not to think about it too much haha!</span><br />
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Monday- It was fun doing all the things for transfers and
calming all the chaos that was going on, this is pretty good future job
training if I want to get into administrative work in business! We sent the
missionaries home and then were able to just be tranquil and get ready for the
new group of missionaries coming in!</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Tuesday- Well there is always some new adventure happening with
us and Tuesday was no exception! The flight from the US had a ten hour delay
for some reason and so President called us early in the morning to inform us of
that and to get new arrangements to pick them up from the airport and change
the arrangements with the missionaries being picked up from the Argentina MTC
and also change the time the trainers were coming in, and change a few other
things. So we got all that taken care of and then went to the MTC to meet the
new Latin elders and one sister that are coming to our mission. As always they
were excited and made us excited as well. It seems like every group of new
missionaries just gets better, The Youth are better I think than even when I
came out on a mission! We did some things in the mission home with them ate
lunch and got them sent off with their trainers with very few problems. Then we
went to the offices to get a few things done and came back later to go meet the
<st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">USA</st1:place></st1:country-region>
missionaries at the airport. Well traffic was SUPER bad and we didn't end up
making it to the airport, Elder Corry and Villegas from the east mission were
at the airport though and they called us and got the missionaries on the
vehicle they needed. After getting their trainers and telling them a few things
we sent them to their new areas in taxi at about 9 at night. All their comps
were Latins as well. I'm glad that didn't happen to me! They had to sleep in
the airport in Georgia (or maybe not sleep) get here super late, no one is
there at the airport to greet you, and then after a very brief time in the
mission home they just send you off with someone you don't know and doesn't
speak your language.... these are brave souls haha.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Wednesday- We did a bit of preparation day because we didn't do
anything on Monday and we just did work on our apartment! we have kept it
pretty clean there was just a lot of junk from stuff that other elders had left
when they went home, so we got that all together in a huge bag along with a
huge bag of stuff we were just going to throw away. We gave the clothes to the
mission home to be washed and taken to the offices in case other missionaries
need clothes and threw the garbage out. I couldn't believe just how much open
space we have now in the pension!!! It surprised me every time I walked in! It
is much better this way though, and makes it easier to feel the Spirit. Then we
did some office work and got ready for upcoming meetings.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Thursday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We left early in the morning to get
ready for a District Leader Training meeting and had that which went really
well. We have some good district leaders! Bought our weekly food and got some
money out from the bank to buy food for upcoming meetings. Then at night we had
time to work in the area!! We looked for some people and ended the night
visiting a less active family who we didn't know but had called the night
before to set up an appointment. We got there and they had made us pizza! We
ate quickly, shared a thought about the atonement and asked them for a
reference and they gave us one! So that was a good night.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Friday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We had a new missionary and trainers
meeting. So the missionaries that have six weeks in the field and their
trainers, as well as, the brand new missionaries and their trainers. We talked
about vision and some important things and then split them in two groups
according to the time they had in their training to teach them different
things. It went pretty well and we really do have good, pure new missionaries.
There are even a few trainers that just finished their training before they
were assigned as trainers.... sound familiar. Afterwards for a few hours we got
some things done that President had asked us to do and then had more time to
work in the area! We walked around a bunch and tried looking up a bunch of
former investigators with not much luck but we were able to contact the
reference we got from the less active family and she was super nice! Patricia
is her name and we set up to teach her this week on Thursday.
We also passed by an active members house and got a reference from her! I can't
remember what day but Elder Compton and I sat down and made a list of goals for
this transfer. Some of them are like just talking in Spanish between us,
memorizing a scripture as a companionship per week (already got <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">alma</st1:city></st1:place> 7:11-12 down!) a few
other things and to find three complete families this transfer to teach. They
are really good goals and are helping us to be more obedient and more
consecrated.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Saturday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- We had the whole day to work! In the
morning after doing our studies we went to a part of the area that neither of
us had ever been to before because the bishop gave us a reference in the
baptism that lives over there. So after getting lost for a while we were finally
able to figure out how to read our map for that part and how it worked. The
reference wasn't at home, but at least we now know how to get there! We did a
couple of really good contacts walking to lunch. One lady even asked us to come
by her house to teach her and then took us to her house so we would know where
it was! She lives in the Zone leaders side of the area so we passed the
reference over to them. After lunch with some members we headed to the church
for a lesson we set up with a less active, but he never showed up. After we
went to the center of Lomas which is a really big shopping area and really full
of people with our zone to do contacts and hand out pamphlets and stuff. It was
pretty fun and we got about 30 people that let us write down their addresses. It
was our ward mission leaders idea and was pretty good, but it is always more
effective to work with the members finding new investigators that just talking
with random people on the street. Then the final thing we did was we went with
a couple in our ward that is over family history in this region to visit Paula.
It was awesome because her daughter was there and they are both really excited
to get going one their family history! We even helped them to create a
FamilySearch account right then and there so they can get started!</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Sunday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- Well a joven in my ward knows Facundo
who is the young man from <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Avellaneda</st1:place></st1:city>
that I helped get baptized if you can remember him and so I guess he found out I
was here and decided to come visit! So I got to see him again which was
awesome! He said he wanted to come out and do visits with me sometime so I
asked President and he said it would be fine! I'm excited for that. Then before
our meeting with President we had a little time to work in the area and so went
to look for some former investigators. It's a good thing we did instead of just
staying in the pench or something because we found a family! The mom came to
the door and was really, really nice to us and explained that they had company
over but if we could right down her phone number to pass by another day. We did
that and also set up an appointment with them tomorrow! We are pretty excited
for that because it is a complete family who is in a good economic situation
and are married! the only thing that seems to be missing is conversion, which
can be pretty difficult sometimes. However, it is a pretty good start for here
in <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Argentina</st1:place></st1:country-region>
and we are super excited. After we had our weekly meeting with President and
will be starting zone conferences this week!</span></div>
<br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Never a boring day in the mission! I love all of you very much
and hope you have a fantastic week. I know that Our Savior lives and loves us,
if we take advantage of the trials in our lives to come closer to Him we will
be blessed. </span></div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14.0pt;">Well I don't have much time because we have been pretty busy
with transfers but I'll try and tell you a few highlights.</span></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
</div>
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14.0pt;">Biggest highlight was Paula's baptism! I'll
try to send pictures. My camera is being a little weird right now. But the
baptismal service was very well planned and the members helped out a ton! It
was a very spiritual and uplifting experience. And another cool thing was that
President Thurgood baptized her because she asked him to! After her baptism she
gave her testimony and said "Hoy renací" She felt born again, what a
special lady and what a special experience for everyone that was there! </span></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
</div>
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14.0pt;">We got everything ready for transfers and it
was a bit crazy today fixing a bunch of problems with transportation and there
were a lot of problems because it rained a lot but it ended up going pretty
well. It was pretty sad to see Elder Peterson go. I think I feel more sad today
than I did last transfer. He really was one of my best companions, and such a
great person. But I don't have much time to think about that! Tomorrow we go and get the new missionaries to
pump up the mission with new fresh elders and sister!</span></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
</div>
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14.0pt;">I love you all very much and something I
suggest to you mom and dad is to set apart at least an hour a week to go out
with the missionaries, either separately or as a couple. I would suggest
looking at your weekly schedules and then maybe saying something like "Elders, on Thursday night we have some free time and would
like to come out on a visit with you" They will love it, and I
testify to you that as you set aside even just an hour a week to do that you
will have a greater spirit in your lives, us, your children will be blessed and
your worries won't seem as big.</span></div>

<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Every week brings new adventures! So here is my weekly report. </span></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
</div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Monday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">- I drove the truck back to the
pension. Seeing as the truck is a stick shift and the driving was done in Argentina I
think that is a pretty big accomplishment. I like driving stick although I am
definitely still getting used to it and probably drive too cautiously in this
world of driving sharks</span></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
</div>
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Tuesday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: large;">- we had district meeting which was
fun. We went over how a baptismal service should be held and prepared. It was a
good reminder and got us excited to prepare the baptism of Paula. Afterwards one
of the investigators of the zone leaders that share the ward with us gave us
lunch. It was really good, ovened chicken with french fries, and she also gets
baptized the 8th
of august. Then we did a few things for the mission and went to teach Paula.
We took an hermano who is about her same age and single....... Sometimes
missionaries do a bit of matchmaking as well hehehe. They seemed to hit it off
well and also he was able to give a really good testimony and give her re
assurance by telling about his own conversion and confirming some of the things
she is feeling now with her own conversion. Something also good was that we
taught her daughter that was there! </span><span style="font-size: medium; mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="font-size: large;">She
is 21 and super prepared and willing to listen, the only problem is she works a
ton so it will be kind of a hit and miss thing of when we can teach her,
although she said the last prayer as if she had been a member her whole life!
We were super stoked after that lesson and then got some things done in the
offices.</span></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
</div>
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Wednesday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">- We had interviews in Banfield and
they were going really well, until my companion had to leave with one of the
zone leaders to help out these other elders that one had gotten bitten by a dog
and needed a rabies shot, so the practices kind of fell apart but it was still
a good experience. I found out that Kenny the guy I helped get baptized in Budge
moved to Peru
with his family so I'm sure they are doing well. Then after that we had to meet
with President because several elders have gone home lately and we needed to
see what we wanted to do about the changes. We pulled up the new assistant a
little earlier than planned just so he could be part of the changes we were
already doing. Elder Compton,
he is a powerhouse and still doesn't even have a full year in the mission! if
you want to see who he is go on the lds.youth page and look up the video of
"texting truth" he is the one who sends the message of the
scriptures. We had to close two areas due to elders going home, that was not a
happy thing to do....</span></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
</div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Thursday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">- we did some stuff in the morning then
went to the offices to pick my our new companion. After that we went to capital
to pick up President's laptop and then had a little intro meeting with Elder Compton
and President. After we looked around and found a menos activo that Elder Peterson
had never taught before and had a pretty good lesson with him. Elder Peterson
is from South Weber, Utah and Elder Compton
from Logan, Utah. So now all my comps from USA have been from Utah.</span></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
</div>
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Friday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">- we did interviews and practices in Montegrande
which was good and then got ready for an intercambio with the zone leaders of Gonzalez
Catan. It was kind of scary getting over there because we had never done it and
we had to take three different trains but we made it without any problem and
met some cool people along the way.</span></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
</div>
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Saturday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">- We spent the day with the zone
leaders, Elder Vera and Elder Palacios. They are both from Argentina and
very good elders. Super obedient it was a very fun intercambio and we got some
good work done, we even got to stay and participate in their baptism since one
of there investigators got baptized. They called it a Bautisabado jaja. </span></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
</div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Sunday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">- We went to church, which was great, a
lot of focus on keeping the Sabbath day holy, it really is important! Paula
went and even though she was a bit tired enjoyed it. Every time she makes more
friends so that is great. We had a meeting with President and I'm starting to
feel a bit more confident as assistant but am a little nervous for the upcoming
transfers because I have never gone through that process and all we have to get
ready and Elder Peterson will be taking trips and stuff that the leaving
missionaries do on their last week. There are plenty of people that can help me
out though so I'm sure we will be fine. Then we had the office staff over to
the mission home and watched the church driver safety video, which was very
good and will hopefully help us to drive safer.</span></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
</div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Monday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">- today we went with an hermano and President
Thurgood to the county building of Lomas (our county) and talked about a huge
family history fair that will be taking place in September. Talk about
hastening the work, they are expecting 10,000 people to come through on that
day to set up a FamilySearch account and learn a bit more about doing their
family history! That is something exciting I'm looking forward to!</span></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
</div>
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Well I know the Lord loves us and He helps me in so many ways. I
love you all so much and hope you have a great week!</span></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
</div>
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;"> </span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">un abrazo,</span></div>

<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">July 20, 2015</span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Happy friend day! to all my beloved friends! Well since we do so much it
helps me to just write my letters by looking back at my planner and writing
something about every day, so I think I am going to keep that format. Kind of
sad not to get a letter from Mom today but I sure it was just a technical
difficulty. (note from Mom: I did send a letter and don't know why he didn't
get it but fortunately I was able to resend it in time for him to get it while he
was still on.)</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Tuesday- we went to a tiny bit of district meeting and then took
off to capital in a remis to take President's laptop to be fixed. After that we
fixed a delicious lunch for ourselves and got hung up in the offices getting a
bunch of stuff done. We called Paula to see how she was doing and see if we
could go to visit her (this was actually on Monday) and she said that she was busy and it would be
better if we just passed by on Saturdays.... NO! once a week isn't frequent
enough for someone to have a real progression especially if they have the goal
to be baptized the 8th of August.</span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Wednesday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">- We did interviews in the zone of
Gonzalez Catan which is one of the new zones from the west mission. They are
really good missionaries and there are only elders in that zone if that tells
you anything about the kind of areas there are there.... The zone leaders
bought us some really cheap and good hamburgers. We got a text from Paula
saying we could come over that night and visit! We got to go with President
Thurgood (he is a really good member present) and taught the plan of salvation.
She really understands very well and is very prepared. She commented to us that
as she reads the Book of Mormon she feels like something empty inside of her is
being filled. She is very sensitive to the Spirit and really her own thoughts
from her life from before the lessons were even taught to her are pretty inline
with gospel principles!</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;"> Thursday- In the morning we looked
for some magnets that Hermana Thurgood wanted for a project and did some other
little odd thing and then had lunch with a member. He gave us milanesa
sandwiches and choripan, not the healthiest of lunches but certainly good! After
we got trapped in the offices getting mission projects done, and we had plans
to work! That seems to be a common theme however haha. </span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Friday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">- We did interviews and practices in
Aldo Bonzi the other new zone from the west mission. They are also really good
missionaries, very obedient. And after we stayed with the zone leaders in their
area to do divisiones with them. I felt like I was back in Budge! Actually,
their area isn't that far away from Budge and are all Bolivians so it pretty
much is the same.</span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Saturday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: large;">- We finished the intercambio, and got
to go to a baptism the zone leaders had of a complete family of six but two
kids are too young so 4 in total were baptized. It was pretty special. They are
a really nice family and Pres. Thurgood also came! Then at night we taught
Paula again with our ward mission leader. We made a lesson plan and the actual
lesson went perfectly according to plan! We taught about the word of wisdom and
the law of chastity. she understood perfectly after a few initial doubts and
confusions and committed to living both commandments! She even told us that she
would drink tea and coffee every once in a while but because she read the
folleto (pamphlet) </span><span style="font-size: medium; mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="font-size: large;">before the lesson
when she was going to drink it she thought "well I better not." Yeah
she is a K-pa!</span></span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">Sunday</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">- Paula came to church and so did a guy
that we talked to on the street on Saturday night, he is a bit different but seems
like he can really use the gospel right now in his life but actually lives in
another area so we passed the reference but it was fun having him there! I am
starting to get some of the names of the members down, it is kind of hard when
you only see them once a week for 3 hours! Then we went to lunch with our
mission leader. It was good, raviolis! After our weekly planning with President
we went to an activity in our ward of watching "Meet the Mormons" and
eating sweets together. Paula went to that activity as well and seemed to have
a good time. She is making a lot of friends in the church! Camila (the girlfriend
of Paula's son) is a strong member and the one that introduced her to the
church. Before, Paula would only go to church when Camila was there because she
didn't know anyone so she didn't go for three weeks because Camila was on a
trip. But on Sunday she went to the activity by herself
and sat with the Bishop's family because she is becoming friends with them!
This really is a good ward I just wish I could work with them more!</span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">I really love the mission and am very glad to be in the Lord's
service. I am glad to hear that Peter's illness was nothing serious and I pray
for you all often. I get along very well with Elder Peterson, he is a fantastic
Elder and it really is easy to feel the Spirit in this companionship. I am
really grateful for this call to serve!</span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial; font-size: large;">with much love y besitos,</span></div>

<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Well, this week has been pretty fun!</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">First of all, Peter is really a good looking baby, you're right
he doesn't look like a lizard. I'll be sure to never give him advice or drive
him around or try to stop criminals.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">
<span class="aqj"><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Tuesday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">-we had normal studies and went to a
normal district meeting! It felt so good! We were with Elder Flanagan and
Elder Monsalve (the one that had the seizure). Then we went to capital to drop
of President's computer so it could get fixed and then went to the offices to
get everything ready for the leaders counsel the next day with the zone leaders
and sister capacitators.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">
<span class="aqj"><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Wednesday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- Elder Monsalve flew home and Elder
Flanagan got put with a young man for a few weeks until the transfer is over
and we had the leader counsel. It was really good and a bit different to see it
from the point of view of an assistant. That happens with a lot of things, I
used to think that the assistants knew everything and were just the super
bosses of the mission. Maybe they were but I know that isn't how I feel! The
spirit really helped me in teaching the part that President assigned me and we
got really good participation. We have some really good leaders in the mission!
Then it was getting ready for interviews where we have a teaching segment with
the missionaries.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">
<span class="aqj"><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Thursday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- was the 9 de julio! One of the
patriotic holidays of the country, I think it is the day that they got their
independence. So because of the holiday we decided to take a road trip with President!
We went to the farthest areas of the mission and did interviews there. It was
really fun and nice to see the campo.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">

<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">
<span class="aqj"><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Friday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- we had the trainer and new missionary
meeting which was really good and it gives us Aanimo to see all the new
missionaries. They really are so good and pure. And then we went to do
divisions with some of the zone leaders.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span class="aqj"><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Saturday</span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">- we had a really good division with
the elders, capos! They are doing a whitewash right now and are just trusting
100 percent in the Lord and seeing a lot of miracles. We learned a lot, taught
some really good lessons to some really good investigators and had fun. Then we
taught Paula. She is also a capa and is noticeably more happy now. She reads
and prays every day and has a baptismal date for the<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><span class="aqj">8th of August</span>.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

try and get to know the ward members but it is hard since we never see them. Then
planning with President.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Since we don't get much prosilyting time, Elder Peterson and I
have made goals for doing more contacts in the opportunities we have. We always
try to talk on the trains as we travel and in the stations as we wait and stuff
like that. It is pretty beneficial and is helping us to lose the "fear of
man". Elder Peterson is a great companion and we really are getting along
very well and I am learning a lot. He is very humble and it makes it easy to
have spiritual experiences. Well I love you all very much<o:p></o:p></span></div>

seems like I've done enough for more than one. Today I filled out in my "mi
familia" pamphlet some information about grandma. About what I could
remember of her and her life. She really was such a sweet grandma and I could
always tell that she loved me. I remembered when she would call all of us
"love bugs" and how she saved all the drawings that I made her even
if they were pretty lame. She really is an awesome Grandma and I miss
her. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Well on Tuesday we welcomed the new missionaries to the mission!
It was a lot of fun and so great to see all the pureness and excited/nervous
feelings they all had.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Wednesday we did a few things getting ready for President Nuñez
to come and then at night we went and met him at the airport. Crazy that now
most of my areas and a lot of my mission friends are in another mission!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Thursday we went to visit the new zones that we got from the
west mission and have a mini zone conference with them. They are really good
missionaries and are going to be a huge asset to the mission. There was even an
Elder from <st1:city w:st="on">Mesa</st1:city>, <st1:state w:st="on">Arizona</st1:state>
that went to <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Mountain View</st1:placename>
<st1:placetype w:st="on">High School</st1:placetype></st1:place>! He said he
knew Grant Huber and his brother. That was my first time I had to teach
something, it's pretty normal. I guess what is weird are all the people that
ask me questions about rules and such. I feel a little under qualified for this
job haha.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Friday we had the district leader training meeting and I got to
teach a lot during that. It went really well and we have some very good
district leaders in our mission. Then we taught a lesson! Not to other
missionaries, with an actual investigator! Her name is Paula. She is really
cool!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Well, I'm out of time and tired, although Elder Peterson said I'll

<span style="font-family: Arial;">Well I am sort of disappointed that President ruined the surprise I was going to try and keep my new assignment secret from all of you for as long as I could, but I guess that's okay. Last week when you told me that Grandma had Cancer I had the feeling that she probably wouldn't make it much longer. I guess it is just one of the many tender mercies that the Lord showed me while I passed through that time at home, being able to see Grandma and spend time with her. I remember one morning getting up and talking with her in the kitchen about what she was like growing up. How she met her husbands, how school was and getting married. I feel like I got to know her a bit better and am so grateful for all that she has given me and our family. She is a person so full of love and generosity, I'm glad she passed those traits on to Dad. I'm going to miss her but the plan of salvation really is real. The death and resurrection of the Savior are actual things that happened and changed the course of the eternities. I know that she is in a place free of physical pain and that gives me comfort to know.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 5pt 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial;">Well this last week in Citybell we tried to work hard and get things done. Because of some fighting elders we had to do an un expected intercambio, but I guess if I'm going to be assistant I should get used to fixing problems! On Saturday we went to Chascomus to do a capilla abierta (chapel open house) which is really far away from the Plata. It was fun and a super lindo (pretty) place, I'll send some pictures next week to you guys.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 5pt 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial;">Elder Corry and Elder Villegas are going to be the assistants in the east mission, so I will be with them until Wednesday and then it is just Elder Peterson and I. I did know him before because we came to <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Argentina</st1:place></st1:country-region> together but because he already knew Spanish. He leaves in 6 weeks. So 6 weeks to learn all that I have to do! Well I've got to go. I love you guys a lot.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial;">Weird that my first transfer
back in the mission is almost over! I try not to think about the time and just focus
on the work, there is a lot to do! We are thinking that my companion and I will
probably stay together and if that happens then I will probably end my mission
here in CityBell! I'm glad to hear about all the things you are doing to keep
busy and the great things that you are accomplishing. I pray for Grandma Donna
quite often, please send my love to her, She is a great grandma. Well on Tuesday
this week we did an exchange and I stayed in the area hoping that I had learned
enough to not get lost. Well turns out I hadn't..... I got lost quite a few
times and it was pretty embarrassing but it helped me to learn the area better
and humbled me quite a bit. We were still able to get to all the planned visits
at least. Tomorrow I stay in the area for another exchange so we'll see if I learned
anything! We were able to do some good contacts though and hopefully can do a
good follow up to be able to have new investigators. Then on Thursday we went
to the sisters area to try and get to know some of their investigators. We
taught Gabriel a 17 year old who has been coming to church for about 2 months
and still isn't sure about being baptized. His mother is VERY protective as
well and she doesn't want him to get baptized yet either, so hopefully we can
help them out. After that we couldn't find anyone else to teach but got to know
a few of their investigators in their doorways. We are sad the sisters are
leaving they really work really hard and hopefully we can keep both of the
areas up. The familia Cambilla is doing really well, they are reading and
progressing. On Sunday Aldana had to go to the hospital to take care of a
friend who got in a motorcycle accident and no-one went to replace here so she couldn't
come to church but Alejandro came with us! He really likes church and is
learning and participates in the classes which is always good. They both always
give very sincere prayers whenever asked to give them. Alejandro even gave the
opening prayer in gospel principles class. The familia Mamani are having a few
problems in the family of not having unity and a few other things, so it looks
like we are going to have to apply what we have been learning with the zone to
that family. They didn't go to church on Sunday (probably because it was dia <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:state w:st="on">del</st1:state></st1:place> padre (father's day)
and they wanted to celebrate) I just thought "and what about your Padre
Celestial don't you think you should celebrate Him!" Of course I don't
know exactly why they didn't go, today we'll ask them. On Sunday our quorum
president took us to his uncles house so we could teach the uncle and his
daughters. We had a short lesson on the Book of Mormon because we didn't have
much time but they seemed like really nice people. The uncle's name is Perfecto
so what more can you ask for? Shout out to you dad, thank you for raising me in
righteousness. Thank you for making the decision with mom to get married and
raise a family inside of the gospel. I am grateful that you lead our family
with love. You are a great example to me of a worthy priesthood holder and I am
very proud to call you Daddy and llevar (carry) the Andrew name. Thank you also
for being so humble, I think that is something I need to work on. Even though
you often say it, I know even without words that your family is the most
important thing for you, thank you. Te amo papá! <o:p></o:p></span></div>

that many times my will isn't the Lord's will. I feel so blessed now to be with
the great people of CityBell, a blessing I would not have enjoyed had I stayed
out on the misión without breaking my ankle. And tell her, "Si yo tuviera
plata para comprar facturas le mandaria algunas pero por ahora tengo que
administrar bien el dinero jaja". Well this week has truly been a
good one as well as a very busy one!<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><span class="aqj">Monday</span><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>we had
some very good lessons teaching the familia Mamani as well as the familia Cambilla.
The Cambilla familia are people the Elders found doing contacts a few weeks
before I got here, they don't have much of a religious formation and have a
pretty mixed up family (the three kids are all from different dads) but they
are making the effort to make changes in their lives. Aldana (the mom) is doing
her daily prayers now and says she feels a lot of peace Alejandro (the dad)
understands the message a bit better but isn't applying quite yet although he
did go to church with us<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><span class="aqj">on Sunday</span><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>and

with a Member couple the matrimonio Pintus who are a great family and Hermano
Pintus is the second counselor of the branch. Anyway we talked about families
and they were able to help the Cambillas feel very good and open up. Lessons
are always better with members and especially when you try to get members that
are having about the same experiences in life. They were all going to come to
church<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><span class="aqj">on Sunday</span><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>for the first time but two of the kids
got sick and so the mom stayed home but Alejandro came with Ignacio (the middle
kid with 4). They really enjoyed their time and the members here are great
cause they just latched on to Alejandro and made him feel very welcome. Another
exciting news is that Fatima Mamani came with her family to church! This is the
first time in a while that she has come and we can tell they are making changes
in the home, there is a different spirit when we go now. I am praying a lot so
her and her sister Melani can receive an answer on the truthfulness of these
things and be baptized. It was testimony meeting and many gave their
testimonies on the Book of Mormon and that Joseph Smith is a true prophet
something <st1:place w:st="on">Fatima</st1:place> is struggling to believe so
hopefully some of the words touched her heart! We are trying to find new
investigators and no luck so far but we are going to keep on trying. Even
though we have a pretty good teaching base now there are always more people to teach
the góspel to. Although in two weeks we will be taking over the sisters half of
the branch because they are leaving, so<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><span class="aqj">this Thursday</span><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>we
are going to visit some of their investigators to start making the transition.
Well in the zone we felt like there were several problems with unity in a few
companionship so this last district meeting we asked if we could speak in the
two districts about companionship inventories. Apparently the district leaders
had the same impresión because both of the meeting were about unity and
resolving problems. After the meeting we found out that several of the
companionships that we were worrying about we able to resolve their problems
and that the district meeting inspired them to do it. What a humbling
experience to follow impressions and see it help other people with their
problems. I sure feel grateful. And one funny story with Stevey Smith (the
stuffed lizard that we borrowed from a less active) we pulled of a great prank.
We took him with us to the correlation meeting with or Ward misión leader and
put him in the bathroom on the counter without anyone noticing. we had the
meeting and it was pretty normal and when we finished the sister said "we
need to go to the bathroom" talk about perfect. we watched as they went in
and then as they ran out screaming and talking in English they were so startled
haha will the good news is they don't hate us and we all had a good laugh.
Sometimes its nice to just have a good laugh :)<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial;">Well after the blister went away my ankle has been
feeling a lot better. I walk pretty much normal now. Some days it feels a bit
stiff but for the most part it is fine. What a blessing! This week has been
pretty busy and as I look back on what we did it seems like this week has been
a month or something. I look back to what we did on Tuesday and think "We
did that only 6 days ago, man it feels like it was forever ago" but I
guess that's how things are when you have action packed days! On Tuesday we had
a zone meeting and talked about chapter 5 in Preach My Gospel about "what
function the Book of Mormon has in missionary work" and it was good. This
month as a mission we are all supposed to study and focus on chapter 5. My
vision of how to use the Book of Mormon I feel is changing and my testimony of
it is definitely getting stronger! Like you said Mom, what a blessing it is to
have the scriptures! Also what a blessing to know that the Heavens are not
closed and God still speaks with His prophets in these latter days! Oh by the
way one of the RMs in my ward served in the <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Salta</st1:place></st1:city> mission and one of his areas was
Tucumán. I don't know if you all remember Elder Reynoso, my hijo that went home
after a week because of his back. Anyway the RM here in Citybell served in his
ward!! Small world. So Gabriel Reynoso is married in the temple and has a kid
already jaja. My companion makes fun of me because I'm still in the mission and
my son is already married and has a child. He makes a lot of jokes about how
long I'm going to be in the mission, I guess it is pretty funny haha. Then on
Wednesday we had the consejo de liderazgo where all the zone leaders and sister
training leaders get together to talk about mission things. It was a bit weird
because everyone except for like one elder was different from the last time I
was there. The mission is splitting and there is a lot going on to get ready.
President Thurgood told me when I got here that he might possibly move me to
the south mission at the end of this transfer, but I hope he lets me stay here.
I really like Citybell and there is a lot of work to do. Plus at the end of
this transfer they are taking out the hermanas due to lack of missionaries and
so we will have both areas to keep us busy.... good thing we have bikes. This
weekend we had a stake conference that was very uplifting and talked a lot about
keeping the Sabbath day holy although I like the wording better in Spanish
"Sanctify the day of Rest" it is something we must do to make that
day Holy. The family Mamani is still coming strong. <st1:place w:st="on">Fatima</st1:place>
has started reading and praying again. She still hasn't asked if this is true
or not but said she would now, so we'll see when we teach them today. We are
teaching a guy named Julio who is really nice and interested in the gospel.
When we went by yesterday to teach him his family was in a big fight, with yelling
and foul language and a bit of guareni as well. Not the best way to start out a
lesson and it was really sad to see just how sad it made him to see his dad and
brothers like that. I don't know what I did to deserve such a wonderful family
but I sure am grateful for it. Thank you Mom and Dad for founding our family on
the principles of the gospel, on love and Jesus Christ. It has made all the
difference in the world in my life and surely in the lives of generations to
come. I love you all very much and wish you the Best in this week. May you ever
seek the will of the Lord and His guidance. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial;">Well right now I'm in a
ciber with pretty bad computers sitting on a bar stool and there are about 12
kids that maybe are 10 years old, playing counterstrike and using worse
language than marines. I fear for the future <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Argentina</st1:place></st1:country-region>, well I always kind of
did. Anyway other than that this week has been really good. On Tuesday I did an
intercambio with Elder Garache, he was in the Quilmes Zone and is a good friend
of mine, from <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Nicaragua</st1:place></st1:country-region>.
If you remember he is the only member in his family and was kind of disowned by
his mother when he came on the mission. He is a good example of doing what the
Lord wants before anything else, and it was nice to be with an old friend. To
be completely honest being back was pretty difficult. I didn't feel the same
love for the work as before and felt like maybe I shouldn't have come back out.
However, on Thursday we had a Zone Conference and talked about many subjects
that are near and dear to my heart, and I was reminded of a lot of things I
used to do in the mission. Then, at the end we had a testimony meeting of all
the missionaries since this is the last time the Thurgood´s will have a zone
conference in <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">La Plata</st1:place></st1:city>.
Being able to bear my own testimony about why I came back and the truths that I
know and being able to listen to the strong and uplifting testimonies of the
others gave me a real boost. I would say I'm back to having probably about the
same amount of Love for the work and animo as I did before I broke my ankle. My
ankle was doing really well, but then the other day a few pebbles got in my
shoe down by the pad of my foot on my right foot. Instead of taking them out I
just kept walking. Well thanks to that I now have the biggest blister every on
my right food haha. It feels a little better but my ankle has been hurting a
bit because of the weird walking the blister has caused me to do. I would ask
for you faith on behalf of my foot, I'm sure it will be fine. Here is a great
lesson we had to finish up. We are teaching a family named the family Mamani.
Two of the daughters have already been baptized and the mother wants to get
baptized but isn't married and doesn't want to get married because her man has
another family in <st1:country-region w:st="on">Bolivia</st1:country-region>....
so typical family you'd find in <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Argentina</st1:place></st1:country-region>.
We went and one the daughters who was going to church and progressing really well
when all the sudden stopped everything, kind of opened up to us. (We think part
of the reason she stopped is the evangelico boyfriend she now has that will
just come and live in their house for like 4 days a week) Anyway <st1:place w:st="on">Fatima</st1:place> (that's her name) said that when she was going to
church she really liked it and felt really good but then when she would get
home she felt like it was all the same. Also, that she wasn't sure about the
story of Joseph Smith. In the mission we are studying one chapter of Preach My Gospel
each month and this month is 5 about what is the function of the Book of Mormon.
So we told her that really her problems lay in knowing if the Book of Mormon is
true or not. We read all of the introduction with the whole family and it was
really good. You could tell <st1:place w:st="on">Fatima</st1:place> was getting
into it and a daughter I had never seen before, Yanet, was also pretty
interested. This normally crazy family was silent and thinking as we testified
of the power of the Book of Mormon and the ability it gives us to know about
the truthfulness of this church. I am very grateful for the Book of Mormon because
if I ever have a doubt about something in the church I can always fall back on
the foundation that I know that the Book of Mormon is true. It changes lives
and has infinitely changed mine. I finished reading it for the second time in
Spanish last week and am enjoying my study of the Doctrine and Covenants that
I'm starting. I love you all and hope you have a great week and can share the
gospel with someone or just show someone that you love them, which is pretty
much one in the same! </span><span style="background: black; border: 1pt none black; font-size: 0pt; padding: 0in;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;"><!--[if gte vml 1]><v:shapetype

<span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial;">Back to the land of street dogs and really bad cibers! haha. Well in <st1:country-region w:st="on">Georgia</st1:country-region>, Hermana Cannon and I met up with a
bunch of Hermanas and Elders straight from the MTC that were going to different
parts of <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Argentina</st1:place></st1:country-region>.
When they found out I had already been there two Elders just glued on to me
asking a bunch of questions and stuff like that it was kind of funny and made
me remember that weird day when I left the MTC. Then after a reaaaaallllllly
long flight we got through customs and everything and I see.... President Thurgood!!!!
We ran over gave him a hug and the Hermana Thurgood was there, too. She was so
happy to see me she gave me a hug, too haha. They were with the assistants and
guess who the new assistant is? That's right, Elder Corry! My hijito ("son",
Ben trained Elder Corry) is now an assistant to the president! So we went to
the mission home, ate some empanadas and pizza and talked with some old mission
friends who were office workers. I had an interview with President and he said
he would be putting me as a zone leader in <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">La Plata</st1:place></st1:city> with Elder Meza. I guess he just doesn't
want to give me time to ease back into the mission just throwing me in as zone
leader like that haha. It's been good so far though. Elder Meza is from <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Monterrey</st1:city>, <st1:country-region w:st="on">Mexico</st1:country-region></st1:place>
and is about a head shorter than me. We get along well and make a lot of jokes
and stuff. He is a convert of about 2 or 3 years and the only member in his
family, pretty special dude. This week, because of the dedication of the <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Cordoba</st1:place></st1:city> temple, the
hermana that usually sets up the lunches couldn't so we ate in the pench all
week (welcome to mission life, haha). Next week we have a zone conference but
all we need to worry about is the food and we already took care of that so it
won't be that stressful. My area is called City Bell and is pretty big and
really tranquilo (mellow), no fear of me getting robbed here. It's kind of like
rich farm land. It is my first branch that I've been in and even though the
usual attendance is around 65 it is a really nice capilla (chapel). There are
about 5 recently returned missionaries and two that got home just last week so
a lot of potential to do a lot of things. There are a few good families here to
teach, but we are looking for more people as always. This is also Elder
Crowther´s last area so he left a few things for me haha. (Elder Crowther was
another one of Ben's companions) It has been a bit strange and difficult
getting re adjusted to the mission, and it's not like there is anyone who can
give me any tips on how to do it. They should make a book for re-adjusting to
missionary life. ha ha just kidding But I guess I just worry that I might have
lost some momentum but I'm gonna keep trying my hardest to be the missionary I'm
supposed to be. My foot feels a bit sore but better than when I got here. We
also have bikes in the area which helps my foot feel better. It seems like all
the missionaries are new, in my zone most of the missionaries have 6 months or
less. Plus there are a ton of hermanas! It is 8 elders and 10 hermanas so
really I'm just the president of the relief society. I think the time home
helped me to realize how much my love for you guys really had grown. I am so grateful
to be part of an eternal family and to be able to share my mission experiences
with you. I really do appreciate the good people that you are and feel overly
blessed to be part of what seems like such a perfect family. Oh I got an extra
transfer added to my mission so I come home</span><span data-term="goog_75059757" style="z-index: 0;" tabindex="0"><span style="z-index: -1;"> <span class="aqj">November 2</span></span></span>. President asked if I want to come home in September
or November so I said November. I'll be home just in time to have a huge nacho
party haha. The Castellano (spanish) was a bit awkward at first but after a few
days I think I'm pretty much back to where I was before, just as President Montague
blessed me to be in my setting apart. I love the Lord and am trying to get back
in the hang of things.<o:p></o:p></div>

<br />
Elder Benjamin Andrew fell while playing soccer on P-day Feb. 9th and fractured his ankle. He came home Feb. 15th to have surgery and to recover. He sincerely hopes to return to Argentina or at least be reassigned so he can finish his mission when he has recovered. He had successful surgery on Friday, Feb. 20. The doctor said that everything just clicked and went much faster than he anticipated. He is now in a cast and hopefully will be able to be in a walking boot at his next doctors appointment March 12th. Your faith and prayers in his behalf are greatly appreciated! He has been to the temple and plans to go at least once a week. He has been working on being able to work at the family history center as a service missionary and also will be going out with the elders to do some visits. We are grateful for this time we have been given with him and pray diligently for his swift recovery so that he can continue his great work.<br />

<b><span style="font-family: Arial;">Well well well my

<span style="font-family: Arial;">Feb. 9, 2015<br style="mso-special-character: line-break;" />
<!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]--><br style="mso-special-character: line-break;" />
<!--[endif]--></span><span style="font-family: Arial;">Thank you for your loving kind words, they inspire me
to be a better missionary. I am also SO grateful to have been born in a family
that really tries to apply the gospel of Jesus Christ in their personal live
and in our family lives. I see too many families (member and non member) that don't
do that. I try to count my many blessings because I really am so blessed. Something
I have been doing lately in the morning while I eat breakfast is read
conference talks. It is such a blessing to have modern prophets that guide us
and keep us on the path of truth. That is something I have learned on the
mission to take advantage of "dead time." <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Reading</st1:place></st1:city> while I eat breakfast, in the
bathroom, or after planning session in the night has helped me get through
Jesus the Christ, and many other books and magazines. By small and simple
things great things will come to pass. Those that have smart phone can download
scriptures and manuals right to your phone and maybe instead of playing angry
birds, you could read a bit of the Book of Mormon, or prepare yourself for the
lesson that will be taught on Sunday. It is just an idea and definitely
something I will keep doing after the mission. Another idea that is really
working out for us here: take investigators to church. One of the biggest
challenges with investigators is usually getting them to go to church. Something
that is really working here is we take members with us to lessons and ask them
if they can then pass by the investigators house on Sunday to go together to
church. So far it is giving really good results, so someway you could help the
elders in our ward is ask them if one of their investigators needs a ride to
church, or if you go out on visits offer to pass by the persons house on Sunday
to give them a ride. Then the investigator can feel a bit more comfortable and
will already have a friend and can focus more on the spirit of the meeting. It
is amazing how many things we can do in the work of the Lord and sometimes how
easy some of those things are. I feel like we live in a dispensation that the
gospel has never been easier to share. We have facebook, messaging, telephones,
cars, mass printing, and so many other tools! The Lord really does want us to
accelerate his work and He gives us the tools to do it. President told us the
church is going to be doing another initiative this Easter kind of like
"He is the gift" that they did for Christmas, asi que prepare
yourselves! My companion and I continue working hard together, he hasn't
complained about his stomach in a while so it seems to be at least calmed down
for now. He has changed a lot in the short time that I have been here. I know
the Lord calls us to our areas to teach the people but I also feel like a lot
of times he calls us to be with our companions for a very specific reason as
well. At the beginning of the mission I was all pumped to baptize and
everything but now I think I am learning to really love just teaching people
the gospel. What a privilege to be set apart to teach people the best message
they will ever hear! The elders in my district call me a "high
priest" because of the time I have but I still feel like a greenie haha, I
love the mission and I love my Savior, I really do depend on Him for everything
I have. I love you all very much and are always in my prayers, especially Brenda
and Levi in this moment!<br />
<br />
love,<br />

<span style="font-family: Arial;">Wednesday, 28 of January <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial;">In the morning we visited the family Feirrera, pretty
new investigators, that came from a member reference. We taught the mom,
Marisa, and her 17 year old son, Lautaro. We had talked about most of the
restoration the last time so we focused on explaining well the Book of Mormon. It
was a really good lesson and they are going to read, meditate and pray! Then
after we waited a long time for coletivo (bus) to go to lunch. Oh, I forgot to
mention it was raining pretty good. We ate lunch with the familia Siles, a nice
family, and then went on our way. Then we visited an hermano that hadn't come
for a few weeks and found out he hurt his foot so we shared a scripture with
him. Then the family Paredes. We watched a movie with them and it went pretty
good. Then we went to an inactive family where one lady is super active and the
rest of the family inactive. It was our first time going, the familia Chalco. It
was a pretty good visit and at the end the sister came in and told the family
that someone they knew recently had a stroke so we did a kneeling prayer for
him. (the hermana later told us that in that moment he woke up from his coma
and is doing a lot better, miracle!) So it was a pretty normal day I guess, I don't
really remember that much anymore the days just all blend together! <o:p></o:p></span><br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 5pt 0in; mso-layout-grid-align: none;">
<span style="font-family: Arial;">Saturday, 31 of January <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 5pt 0in; mso-layout-grid-align: none;">
<span style="font-family: Arial;">Well cooly enough we visited the family Feirrera
again in the morning. Marisa told us that she had talked with her daughter (who
she fights with a lot because of the son in law) and where she had expected to
kind of get in a fight there was the opposite reaction, and she said it
impacted her. She is feeling the Spirit that what we teach is true, we talked
about recognizing the Spirit on Wednesday and now she is recognizing it and
reading and praying! Lautaro didn't read so we read <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Moroni</st1:place></st1:city> 10:3 -5 (the homework we left) and he
is doing his prayers and says he is seeing good changes in the family. A lot of
potential over there. What a blessing to be in the true church! Then we
searched around some more and then went to lunch with the familia Porcel. They
made us SOOO much meat it was insane. People here don't believe in the Word of Wisdom
because there was just rice, potatoes with mayo and a ton of meat. They are a
really good family though who are putting the batteries to be 100 active this
year and so far are going strong. Then, we taught the family Lopez for my first
time who are inactive. The hermana was making a lot of excuses and kind of
lying to us (they are known for lying) and so we pulled out <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Alma</st1:place></st1:city> 42:25 to 30 I think it is. Hermana if
you go to church you'll be blessed if not you won't. I feel like the mission
has helped me get a lot more patience but at the same time as the time goes on
my patience shortens with some people haha. Then we visited another menos
activo (less active) and went to a ward activity/birthday party for the bishop
who turned 31. That's right, the bishop has the same birthday as you Mom, so I
saw cake and everything on that day! <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 5pt 0in; mso-layout-grid-align: none;">
<span style="font-family: Arial;">Some other cool things that happened this week is we
finally taught the familia Ramos for the first time. They have been going to
church for 4 weeks but we could never set up an appointment to teach them. We
finally did and they are as prepared as they seemed in the capilla (chapel or
church). We talked about the Book of Mormon and the hermano told us one of the
reasons he wants to change his life all the sudden is because he saw his
nephews who are returned missionaries and what good people they are. He even
said "my nephew is more mature than me a lot of times!" haha. He said
he went to church as a kid kind of just following his brothers and sisters but
now as he is going he feels something a lot different, like what they say is
just for him. The church is true! and another good bit of news on Sunday Kenny
got the Aaronic Priesthood! The Ward is really excited to work and a few weeks
before I got here they had an assitance (attendance) of about 35 I think.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>This Sunday 115 people were in Sacrament Meeting!
It just goes to show that working with the members, and the members working by themselves
without the missionaries having to remind them really pulls out the best
result. Be you own agents and look for ways to help, there are so many! I love
you all so much and hope you have a great week! <o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Jan. 26, 2015<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial;">This week was great! with the
traveling elders here we did divisions every day and could get a lot of work
done! We also cleaned our pench more deeply and got our area book a lot more
organized. Elder Payne and Elder Peterson are like two area boosters. Elder
Peterson was assistant for 6 months and Elder Payne a zl for 10 months so they
are some pretty experienced missionaries. We found a lot of new people that
seem like they have quite a bit of potential. One day Elder Payne and I were
kind of walking around trying to find people when I felt like we should really
just go look for this family (the familia Ramos that has been coming to church
but we still haven't taught) even though it was kind of far and I wasn't
exactly sure how to get there. We went and weren't finding the house so we did
a few contacts and they went pretty well. As we came back out onto the main
street and I am looking back down at my agenda to see what we should do next I
hear a "hey elders" it was the familia Ramos! What a miracle! They
didn't have time to let us in and teach but showed us where their house was so
that I wont get lost next time and we gave them a Book of Mormon cause they
didn't have any. As we handed it over the face of the hermano lit up. I am really
excited to teach them on this Friday. They seem like a pretty prepared family.
As we were over there still we hear again "elders!" A lady comes up
to us and said she is visiting from <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Peru</st1:place></st1:country-region> and wants us to teach her
inactive daughter. So we went right then and taught her and a lady that lives
with her and set up an appointment to teach them and their boyfriends today! We
were in a part of the area I have never been to, just in the right moment too.
With all the people in all of budge we found those two that needed us! The Lord
really does look out for us and has His children in mind! We also got to go to
the temple this week which was awesome! I love to see the temple I will keep
going there someday, to feel the Holy Spirit, to listen and to pray. What a
blessing to have the fullness of the gospel over the earth. The real blessings
of being a member of the church are found in the temple. Maybe you could offer
to take with you some recent converts from our Ward and help them to do
baptisms for the dead. That is a huge part of retention! I am still learning a
lot every day and loving this mission so much. I love all of you and hope you
have a great week! <o:p></o:p></span><br />

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 5pt 0in; mso-layout-grid-align: none;">
<span style="font-family: Arial;">Weird thing happened today...... I don't know if you
remember any of the people from my MTC group, but anyway the sisters from my MTC
group go home today. That is weird. I am staying with Elder Garcia so we'll
seeing how "killing" someone goes haha. We can feel the prayers and
things are really going pretty good here in Budge. We are working a lot with
the menos activos (less actives) and this Sunday we had 96 in sacramental (sacrament
meeting) ! That is a lot considering the last one was like 73 and our goal for
the year is to have a solid 100 in sacramental (sacrament meeting) so almost
there already! I feel like the Lord is really pouring his spirit over this
place. He is preparing people to hear the gospel and people to come back. A lot
of people are ready because of certain circumstances in their lives starting to
think seriously about what they are doing and going through a repentance
process. For example, a new family came to church on Sunday, the family Ramos. We
didn't know who they were and as we talked to them we found out that the father
is a member that had been a bit inactive for a while. Because of the fact that
their children are growing up and they want to put them on a good path, he
began searching the church and went to a different ward where they told him he
really corresponded to our ward. So him and his family showed up about 40
minutes early because they didn't know at what time church started. That looks
like to me people that are really looking for a change. We set up an
appointment with them for Tuesday so we will see how it goes. Kenny and Monica
are both ready and Saturday will be their baptism! Two people super ready. I
feel so grateful to be in this grand mission. I love you all. See you next
week! <o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial;">Jan. 5, 2015</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial;"><o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial;">Well this has been a pretty good week! New Years here
is pretty much exactly like Christmas here, just probably a little bit more
fireworks! We had another asado(lots of meat) and at 12 we went on the roof of
the two story building that we live in and enjoyed the fireworks that everyone
and their grandma was lighting off! Got some pretty good footage of that. I am
getting to know the area better and more or less how to take the colectivos (bus)
and stuff so that is good and we can now do divisions with confidence. I set
some goals for the mission of 2015 (I didn't want to get trunky so I just set
goals for the mission) What I have so far is: finish the Book of Mormon again
(I'm in 2 Nephi 10), finish the new testament (I'm in 1 Corinthians 2), finish Jesus
the Christ (I am more than half way done), and work up until the last day of my
mission. So I've got a lot of finishing to do haha. Let me know if you have any
other good goals. Oh and the Ward goal is 30 baptisms for 2015 so if I stay
here until June my goal is to help 15 people to get baptized. Right now for the
17 de January we have two really solid people, Kenny and Monica, who will
almost definitely get baptized and stay strong in the gospel. Monica is already
thinking about going to the temple to be baptized for her grandmother, so I
would say that is pretty prepared. She also had a bunch of trials in her life
that made her deny her belief in God, but now she has realized through a series
of other trials that He is the only answer really. She says that her life is
still hard but she has a different way of looking at her trials now..... capa! My
companions name is Emilio. If you wanted to please keep him in your prayers,
pray for him to end his mission well tambien (too)... He is a little taco
trunky haha. Reading in 2 Nephi 9 and reflecting this week I realized that
everything that we have and everything we do is thanks to God. We can't really
take credit for anything. If I say a question that helps someone make the decision
to be baptized I can't even take credit for that because the Holy Ghost sent me
the question. I don't know if I am explaining myself well but I just want to
say it is important to recognize the hand of God in our lives. We make the
decision to be receptive or not. I hope you can start the semester well and
that you all are well, siempre estan en mis oraciones (you're always in my
prayers). o sea estais jaja<br />

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 5pt 0in; mso-layout-grid-align: none;">
<span style="font-family: Arial;">How crazy it seems like it was just Christmas and
already it is New Years haha. Hope you are getting your New Years resolutions
ready! And I hope you make a few goals that are related with missionary work!
It was really nice seeing all of you on the 25th! The time seemed short but the
important thing is that you all are healthy and beautiful as always. We even
had a new member of the family present.(whooo future niece/nephew thing!) You
should give the name of Benjamin the younger in my honor, boy or girl it
doesn't matter! Well after the 24th my comp has felt better and so we have been
working normally, and man is there a lot of work to do! We actually have a
little group of investigators that comes to church normally and some of the
menos activos who are coming back, and a WHOLE bunch of part member families.
On Sunday we pulled out a baptismal date with Kenny Gutierrez. He is a boss, he
already received all the charlas in Peru and has been wanting to get baptized
for a while, but he was living without being married with his wife (a returned
missionary) but about 5 months ago they got married and now all that he needs
is to stop drinking coffee which he is already one week strong without coffee.
We'll see if he makes it for the 17th. I felt pretty blessed on Sunday for
doing my personal study every morning. The quorum president thought it was the
5th Sunday and so hadn't prepared a class, and said "Elder Andrew could
you give the class" haha uh yikes. I had no idea what the prophet class
was so I just kind of made up my own things. As I have been reading in Nephi
lately, we looked at and analyzed the example that Nephi is and how we can be
like him. It really does impress me how rock solid Nephi is. He never doubted
in doing what was right. Even though he was the youngest he was chosen to rule
over his brothers. He never broke in the face of opposition. He didn't see
himself as someone special but was very humble. He always looked for revelation
and his own confirmation of things. The list goes on. The Book of Mormon is so
full of examples of mere mortals that really were able to put off the natural
man and become purified through Christ. Hopefully I can do that. I love you all
very much</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial;">Que loco! Christmas is almost here! Hopefully this
letter won't be too short but I wasted and am still in the process of trying to
figure out the Skype thing. (I hate technology) Well now that I have used
almost all my time and it still didn't work I'll tell you how I'm doing and
pray that on the 25th it will work. I will call on the 25th at 3 Argentine
time. And if it doesn't work it will just be like the time I tried to call you
in the airport haha, I was only depressed for a few hours afterwards. Anyway on
Tuesday they brought me to Budge in a taxi and to be honest I am liking it here
a lot. I am back in Banfield so that brings back some memories from the
beginning of the mission, how weird that was like a year ago! The members here
are really nice! (Most of them Bolivian, Peruvian or Paraguayo, pretty much
anything but Argentine haha) There is a lot of potential here and Elder Garcia
and I are trying to work hard to sacar that potential. The Bishop is a stud,
and works really closely with us but will be moving in two weeks.... I finished
the Book of Mormon last week I just forgot to tell you. What a great book! And
now I am loving the story of Nephi and his family as I start over again. I also
was able to finish Acts in the New Testament, good book. The Lord puts me where
I can learn the most I feel like. I am doing well and we'll talk more on the
25th! <o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 5pt 0in; mso-layout-grid-align: none;">
Well sometimes
it is tough for good things to last forever. We received a call from President
on Saturday morning to let me know I am being emergency transferred. So after
only 8 weeks here in beloved Mayol I am already leaving. My new area will be Ingenderio
Budge, which is in the same zone as <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Lanus</st1:place></st1:city>,
my first area, asi que Back to Banfield! Elder Garcia is going to be my new
comp and I already knew him in <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Quilmes</st1:place></st1:city>.
He was a district leader and I was his zone leader but now we are going to be
comps! President told me he is having a tough time and really didn't get along
with his last comp (therefore the change) and said he prayed about the whole
mission and felt like I was the elder who needed to be his companion. I ask for
your prayers in this new change, I hope to help him and will surely learn a lot
as well. I feel a little sad leaving here because I didn't have much time and Elder
Cottrell and I got along really well and he has really helped me in my progress
as a missionary, but when the Lord calls I'm not going to say no. So on Tuesday
at 4 we will be making the change. Anyway, this week on Wednesday we had the
big Christmas Zone Conference! We did it with the Quilmes Zone so it was fun to
see some old friends and talk with Elder Bastias some. We talked a lot about
the Navidad (Christmas) and Christ and how we can use this time to better do proselyting,
like with "He is the Gift". Then we ate lunch (delicious asado!) and
went to the acts. Our zone prepared a nativity skit thing and I had to sing a
solo of "Maria Sabias Que" ("Mary Did You Know?") and I was
pretty nervous but people told me that it turned out well. After we talked some
more and had a short testimony meeting. All in all I think it was probably the
best zone conference I have ever been to! The other day there was a hail storm,
they are pretty crazy here when they happen and the hail is huge! Well we are
not having too much success with getting investigators to progress but a lot of
menos activos (less actives) are coming back. The asistance (attendance) on Sunday
was 125! Which is quite a bit, we almost didn't fit in the chapel. Do you know
how much is an average assitance (attendance) in Glenview Ward? Then on Sunday
we did divisions with the hombres jovenes (young men) again and me and my comp
went with a joven (youth) of 13 years that is the deacons quorum president. This
kid is a K-PO! He was telling us that he prays for the quorum and hopes to be
able to help the other deacons come back and be active. Looking for one joven
(youth) we found an apostate member that had started his own iglesia evanglica
church in his house. It was a really weird visit but we asked the kid, Juan, to
give his testimony and he gave such a pure simple and powerful testimony.
Jovenes (youth) rock, I wish I had been like that when I was 13. Well I don't
have much to say this week but I love you all! </div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 5pt 0in; mso-layout-grid-align: none;">
<span style="font-family: Arial;">Well another good week in Mayol, we are still
struggling with getting investigators to progress, or just getting
investigators in general haha but a lot of personal growth this week. As I have
told you I have really been trying to remember the Savior and think of him
during the sacrament and this week I am going to start on the goal to remember
him ALWAYS throughout the whole week. That is obviously a hard goal, but it is
also the key to always having the Spirit. Speaking which the rap music in the
ciber right now doesn't make it that easy haha. Anyway, I feel like I have been
doing some fine tuning on skills and obedience this week. We had a very sad
lesson the other day with a less active family we have been working with. We
were talking about the sacrament, what it means and the importance of taking it
and the understood pretty much perfectly and then when we asked them if they
would prepare to take the sacrament and go to church they said....... no. It
was like a stab to the heart, because it wasn't just like the didn't understand
it was them denying against their knowledge. Sad day and if they don't´ get
better soon we might stop visiting them for a while. But then maybe it is as Moroni
tells us in the last chapters of Mormon to not get mad because of the mistakes
of others but to give thanks to God for having seen the errors and being able
to be better. How great and true is the Book of Mormon! Hopefully I can finish
it off this week I am in Ether 10 right now, so not that much left! Then there
is another menos activo family (less active family) that we are teaching just
recently and they are really putting the batteries! They are reading and
praying and the mom and her two daughters came to church on Sunday (even though
it was raining!) The dad had to work but will surely come when he can. I just
love these people so much. That is one of the greatest lessons I think I am
learning is how to love and what having love and not pity for someone really
means. Loving the Savior and understanding His love for others helps us also
with our capacity to love. We obviously can not atone for another's sins but we
can be like the Savior by making others burdens lighter or even in some ways
taking their burdens upon us. Sometimes that just means caring enough about
someone to ask questions and earnestly listen. Well I hope you have all shared
"He is the Gift" on every social network that you have accounts on! We
made an announcement about it in sacrament meeting and hopefully the members
were paying attention haha. We as members remember the Savior the whole year,
but what a special time when the whole world, not just members remember Him. What
a great time to share the Gospel! I love you all and wish you a very good week!

<span style="font-family: Arial;">Dec. 1, 2014<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 5pt 0in; mso-layout-grid-align: none;">
<span style="font-family: Arial;"><o:p> </o:p></span><span style="font-family: Arial;">Well transfers have once again come and gone and
(drum roll please) we stay the same! We were hoping to stay together for at
least one more cause we feel like we have a pretty good thing going here. It is
so crazy that I have already been here for 6 weeks though, it pretty much blows
my mind how fast time is going! Well this week we didn't teach too many people
it felt like but Mara was baptized! We saw a really big change in her and now
we are really going to focus on the family, because the mom is a strong active
member but the dad and a few siblings don't go, so as we teach her the lessons
again we will try and get the whole family participating! The stake also has a
temple trip planned for the recent converts from each ward and we are going to
send her on that! So one week after being baptized she will go to the temple to
do baptisms for the dead! Just like Facundo! That is what we hope at least. Well
this week I finished the Book of Mormon, and so now I am in Ether. Mormon and <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Moroni</st1:place></st1:city>'s lives seem
pretty sad to me, they watched their whole people be destroyed and were the
only righteous ones. I am so grateful to live in a time where living the gospel
doesn't require me to stand so quite alone. Even though it is tough I always
have a ward, leaders and my family to back me up, what a blessing! I also ended
John in the Bible so the four gospels. I feel like that through reading those I
have gotten to know my Savior a lot better, probably be a good thing to read
this month for you guys (hint hint) and now am started in on Acts which is
really cool. I really do love the scriptures and look forward to my personal
study times and companionship study times to share what I learned. If we share
what we learn we retain it better maybe something you could try is talking
about studies around the dinner table or something or allow a time in family
home evening to talk about what you are learning in your personal studies. That
way; one, mom and dad can make sure everyone is doing their studies haha and
two, you can all learn from one another. Just an idea I'll throw out there. I am
really excited to work in this Christmas season and help others to get to know
the true meaning of Christmas. May God be with you 'til we meet again over
internet. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 5pt 0in; mso-layout-grid-align: none; mso-outline-level: 3; page-break-after: avoid;">
<span style="font-family: Arial;">Well that is a much longer name than Thanksgiving! And
they don't really eat turkey here haha. I am really thankful for my family and
for the support you all give me as I serve this mission. Well this week was
another packed one. We are trying to do good follow up with all the new
investigators we found and still find a few new ones. We found a cool new
couple by doing follow up with someone we had contacted my first week in the
area and couldn't speak with us in the moment but this week let us teach them.
I think we at least tried to get in contact with all of them and some worked
and others not. The family of six turns out the dad doesn't want to listen to
us so we will see what is up with that this week. We passed by Gustavo a few
times but he never had time to let us in but is still reading and praying. On
Saturday we called him to remind him to go to church and he didn't answer. Then
he sent us a text later saying that he had drunk a lot, didn't feel good,
missed his family and would go to church. We told him that we would go pick him
up for church and he sent back "okay, en el nombre de jesucristo,
amen" (okay, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen) so even though he was
pretty drunk at least that shows he is praying and remembers the steps haha. Well
he didn't come to church but we are going to teach him today. Mara is on track
to be baptized on Saturday, the bishop got to know her and we talked with the
leader of mujeres jovenes (young women) so that they could all be there at the
baptism, so things are hopefully coming into place for that. The ward is
working a lot and that is super important, even though we might not see too
much progress with our investigadores (investigators) yet (I say yet because it
is just a matter of time before they are all ready for baptism
#ibelieveinmiracles) but the forces of the ward are starting to get more
organized and starting to show. Missionary work that lasts is done with the
members, so it is always a big plus to be on the same page/team. I did the same
thing with the sacrament yesterday and it helped me again, that really is the
key to just focus on Christ. Well something cool that I got in my email is a
huge thing that the church is going to be doing this Christmas that will start
pretty soon. "He is the gift" its called so keep your eyes and ears
open for that. It will be a great chance to share the gospel in this Christmas
season! Oh so that you know we found Ulises and his family again they seem fine
but even though they promised to come to church they didn't, so I wonder if
there is still something we can't see that is going on over there. (the dad is
not back in the picture) This Sunday we also did divisions with the young men's
organization to visit inactive young men (apparently on the ward list there is
like almost 100!) and it went really well. It is surprising the power that the
youth really do have, for that very reason "let no man despise thy
youth" the Lord calls the young to do great works. Maybe that is something
you could suggest to do, Dad, with the deacons. I don't know if there are any
inactive boys in the ward but if there are you could not only help them, but
also their families. This work is so marvelous I really do love it and I hope you
can all look for new ways to join it, and help out our brothers and sisters to
listen to these eternal truths! <o:p></o:p></span>

<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 5pt 0in; mso-layout-grid-align: none;">
<span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt;">Well one cool thing about this week
is that we found 15 new investigators! That is a mission record and is mostly
because we found two new families that are complete families: mom, dad and a
bunch of kids and then a few others here and there. Now the trick is just to
get these people to progress. Before in my mission I have never really been
able to find prepared people through doing contacts but now we are (at least I
hope) and I think it is because we are making it a focus. We found one guy,
Gustavo, where we just talked with him and his mom in front of their house one
day and then set up a day to go visit them. When we visited them, Gustavo
opened up (something he doesn't do according to his mom) and told us he wants
our help because he has been into drugs and alcohol and that has caused him to
lose his family, mujer(woman/wife) and 3 hijas (daughters) and realizes he
needs to make some changes. We talked about <st1:city w:st="on">Alma</st1:city>
36 and the change that <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Alma</st1:place></st1:city>
had and afterwards he said he felt more peaceful. We passed by a few days later
to see how he was doing and he wasn't there but his mom told us he had been
reading in the Book of Mormon! That is something not many people do right off
the bat! Then, a family we found, we just clapped a door one day in an area
that we don't usually go to because we were lost and asked for help.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The lady seemed really nice and even told us
about her experience that led her to believe in God. So we went back this week
and taught the whole family! Husband, wife and 5 kids (4 kids over 8 years old)
and she had actually read the folleto (pamplet) we gave her, something that
also no one does right off the bat! haha So it will be interesting to see how
we can keep working with these people. One key is to always be searching
because a mistake we sometimes make as missionaries is to say "well we
have already got a pretty good group of investigators so we will just focus on
them" then they get baptized and there is no one to teach..... so always
looking is important and then dropping the people that aren't progressing but
leaving a good registro (register) in the area book so that other elders can
find them when it is "their time." Then, Elder Nelson talked to us on
Thursday, that was great! First, Elder Cevallos and his wife spoke with us. They're
from the area presidency and from their accent I could tell they were Chilean,
whoo go <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Chile</st1:place></st1:country-region>!
They gave very great talks. Then Elder Nelson and his wife. She talked a lot
about the premortal existence and the 12 tribes, pretty interesting. Elder Nelson
talked about how important the work is that we are doing and what I really
wanted to share with you is that at the end he gave us an apostolic blessing
and in that blessing he blessed those that are sick or afflicted within our
people (family groups) that they would be okay. So, little Benjamin Brimley is
going to be just fine :) Then, this Sunday, I had a really cool experience in
church. Sadly, as a missionary it is sometimes hard to focus on what is really
important in church. Sometimes we are thinking about who didn't show up or why
they are teaching some weird doctrine if there is an investigator there or that
it is hot or something and it is something I need to work on, but during the
sacrament this week I dropped all those thoughts and just focused on the Savior.
As I pondered on his life, what I have been learning about Him in the
scriptures lately and his love, a big peace overcame me. I didn't notice the
distractions and the following meeting was one of the most spiritual meetings I
have ever been in. Was it so much more spiritual because the talks were really
great, or someone special came to speak to us? The talks were good but I think
the difference was me and where my focus really was. That we may all remember Christ
through the whole week and especially during that sacred time of the sacrament.

Well this last
week was pretty sweet, we are working pretty hard with elder Cottrell and have
a lot of ground to cover so we try not to waste time. Things are heating up
again but there are already clouds in the sky so looks like rain. Cool announcement.....
Elder Nelson comes to talk to our mission on Thursday! How cool is that! An
apostle and just our mission! Hopefully he doesn't drop the cane on us. Something
we are really focusing on with my comp is doing more contacts. We set daily
goals of how many people we are going to do contacts with and then try to push
ourselves to get those goals. We find some prepared people that way, but I feel
like the best result of it is that we can have the spirit stronger and new
investigators just come out of nowhere. Like random members from other wards
coming up to us to give us references (that happened today). I feel like as we
show the Lord we are willing to push ourselves to proclaim the gospel he lets
us find more people and abundantly blesses us. The ward is getting pretty
pumped up to do visits and the leaders of most of the organizations really want
to get working so we are going to use that. We have a goal to pass by every
leaders house this week to see how we can help them out with their different
responsibilities. That is what the missionaries are here for, to serve the
ward. So if you have a need, use them in your ward! Then on Sunday we had a kid
just show up in church. Apparently he has been coming to mutual for a while and
just wanted to go to church. He is 16 years old and seems pretty cool. We set
up to go teach him and his family on Friday! We have Mara, a girl in a part
member family, that has a date for the 29th come to church. We started calling in
between our set appointments to make sure she was keeping her commitments and
she has really started progressing. She is a little slower learning wise but we
are seeing a big progress since we started and also cool that her family that
was less active is also putting the pilas (?) and doing more things as well! When
they went they were a bit afraid but thankfully we talked to the president of
the mujeres jovenes (YW president) before and she help her out a lot to feel
comfortable. Working with the members, it is the Lord's way! I am reading now
in 3 Nephi in the part where Jesus is here teaching in the <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Americas</st1:place></st1:country-region> and am
also reading in Juan (John) in my New Testament studies. The teachings of Christ
seem so clear and precious and I just want the people to understand them as
well. I am also very grateful for the Book of Mormon that helps me to better
understand the Bible and visa versa. The Bible working with the Book of Mormon
are some of the strongest tools we have and that God has given us. So you had
better be using them! Well, we will see if someone makes me a cake tomorrow! I
love you all very much y espero que se quiden (and I hope that you be careful)!

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 5pt 0in; mso-layout-grid-align: none;">
<span style="font-family: Arial;">Well I am starting to get a little bit more adjusted
to the routine here in Mayol and things are going pretty good. Well this Halloween
I had nothing to dress up with in the pension and I was kind of tired do no
pictures for you all (sorry!) but it was a pretty good day. This week started
off REALLY hot and humid and now for the past few days it has been raining, so
we are at full speed on the argentine weather roller-coaster! Elder Cottrell
and I get along really well, he is a super chill guy and he knows what he is
doing (he only has 4 months left) and I feel like we are really trying to help
out. One thing I like is that we are doing a lot more in companionship study,
like practices, talking about investigators and setting goals. And we are
trying to try a lot of new things with new ways of doing contacts and stuff
like that. We are still trying hard to get to know the area and all the members
but that will probably come with more time. We have started doing more calls to
verify how investigadores (investigators) are doing and make sure they are
keeping their compromisos (commitments) and it seems to be helping a lot. We
also have 2 ward missionaries which is something I have never had in a ward
before, so now we just have to get them more involved in the work because they
really want to work! This Saturday was a great day! A highlight was finding a
new family. It is the mom, a 16 year old son, and a 8 years old daughter. Norma,
Ulises y Ati. Ulises is the friend of a member and went to church like a year
ago for a while but then his dad wouldn't let him anymore. Recently his parents
got separated and he just started going to church again by his own will. So
that is how we found him... he just showed up in church haha. But his mom is
also very prepared. We had our first lesson with the family on Saturday and
they listened attentively and had already been reading in the Book of Mormon. Norma
said she could feel peace and that she wanted to learn more and Ulises also, Ati
is kind of like most 8 year olds and didn't pay much attention but she is
funny. Norma did the last prayer and asked to be able to understand and keep
going. So good start with them, they have a goal to be baptized the 29th of November.
Other good news, Elder Bastias told me that Federico got baptized and it was
awesome! He is going to send me some fotos later. It is nice to know that the
work keeps going! Today in my studies I came across something in Preach My Gospel
that I wanted your help on. In chapter 11 in the back where it has ideas for
personal study it has the idea to write family members and ask them for a
testimony on the blessings they have received from keeping a commandment, or
something like that. And since we are focusing as a ward on trying to get the
members to do more visits I wanted to ask you all; how have you been blessed
from doing your visits (home and visiting teaching)? Or how have you been
blessed from receiving them.? Thanks! Well I'm sure I have a great week ahead
of me and I will soon be an old man! Just 8 days more! (Ben turns 20 Nov. 11th)
How crazy..... well I love you all lots! <o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial;"><br />
Well as you may have noticed in one of my pictures, I tried to send you a
picture of the tan line that is starting to form on my arm, summer is upon us
and it is already showing! Don't worry though I change my watch to my other
wrist every day just so I don't get one of those nerd tan lines ha ha just
kidding.... but I really do change my watch. Something I didn't tell you last
week but we have bikes!!!! First time in the mission, it really makes travel a
lot easier and helps because the sube (bus card) prices have really spiked, the
lowest cost trip when I got here cost 1.50 now the lowest cost trip is at 3.25!
So having bikes means we don't really take busses which makes it nice. Also we
technically have two areas because they closed down the branch of San Fransico
and joined it with Mayol and then took the elders out from over there so we
have both areas, and even though it makes things a little harder I feel like it
is necessary because there aren't the best feelings between ex-San Fransico and
Mayol, so having both areas we can help build up the unity! Well I am really
liking my new area! It is tranquilo and there are a lot of good members. I
still feel like I hardly know anything but that will come with time of course. My
comp also only has about 5 weeks working both areas and his last comp didn't
help him out too much so we are getting to know the area together! We have been
doing a lot more contacts and even though we haven't seen too many results yet
we have high hopes for the future! My comp had the good idea of taking out the
peoples phone numbers in contacts (something I had kind of stopped doing) so we
could call them to confirm the visits we set up with them that way we don't
waste our time with people that aren't there. I have great hopes for this area
and I feel like there is something big that the Lord has in store for us here. There
are some really capo leaders and the bishop has about 2 months as bishop so
that is an animo (excitement) factor. They also give us good almuerzos
(lunches) something the Lord has blessed me with in every area. I have nothing
more but than to be grateful to Him. I owe everything to him and I love him. I
love being able to work here with the people of <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Florencia Varela</st1:city>, <st1:country-region w:st="on">Argentina</st1:country-region></st1:place>.
What a great place to be at this time in my life! I love you all, <o:p></o:p></span></div>
